Two suspects have been arrested by the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office in connection with Tuesday’s robbery of Zions Bank in Ammon.
A Sheriff’s office news release said detectives located and identified Matthew T. Baker, 27, of Idaho Falls.
Baker was charged with robbery, a felony, and was booked into the Bonneville County Jail, the release said. Sheriff’s office detectives also identified a girlfriend of Baker, Staci M. Cohea, 25, of Idaho Falls, who also was taken into custody, booked into the Bonneville County Jail and charged with accessory to a felony, the release said.
The sheriff’s office is continuing a search for the car Baker used, a blue 1984 Subaru GL Station Wagon. The car’s license plate number is 8BJU976.
According to the Post Regiter, both Baker and Cohea appeared Thursday before Magistrate Judge Michelle Mallard in Bonneville County Court for arraignment via video conference. They each applied for a public defender.
Cohea’s bond was set at $15,000 and Baker’s was set at $50,000.
