Thousands Of Bees Set Loose After Truck Overturned

POCATELLO – Bees by the thousands were set loose Thursday when a truck crashed on Interstate 15. The truck overturned on southbound I-15 near Chubbuck, releasing a swarm that slowed traffic. 32-year-old Robert M. Langford, of Ogden, Utah, was hospitalized. Police say he was reaching for an item and drove off the roadway.

Two other nearby accidents on I-15 also kept first responders scrambling for much of the afternoon. A motorcyclist crashed on an I-15 off ramp south of the crash, and just yards away, 49-year-old Justin D. Corbridge, of Island Park, was driving a semi when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Branden P. Palmer, of Pocatello. The semi overturned. Palmer was taken to the hospital.
