EAST IDAHO – East Idaho is under many severe weather warnings because of expected snow and flooding. The National Weather Service reports snow is in the forecast every day through Monday of next week. Driggs, Victor, Island Park and Ashton are expected to get up to 8 inches of snow through tonight while the rest of East Idaho is forecast to receive a rain-snow mix. A wind advisory calling for gusts of up to 50 mph is also in effect during that time frame, and thunderstorms are possible the Journal reports. In addition, East Idaho is under multiple flood warnings, flood watches and flood advisories because of the expected precipitation.a
