Pocatello Woman Arrested for Oregon Murder

Police detectives from Oregon arrested a Pocatello woman Wednesday for allegedly murdering her husband’s ex-wife last year.

According to Idaho State Journal, Angela Rose McCraw-Hester, 35, of Pocatello, is being held at the Bannock County jail on a murder warrant out of Oregon and is awaiting extradition back to that state. She is accused of killing Annastasia Hester.

Authorities said her husband, Matthew Hester of Pocatello, is also in police custody and charges against him are expected. But as of Wednesday night authorities would not comment on what those charges would be. Matthew Hester is the victim’s ex-husband.

Pocatello police assisted in the arrest and said they detained other people at the house for questioning. One of those was Matthew Hester, who authorities said will face charges.

Annastasia Hester was stabbed multiple times in the early morning hours of June 10, 2016, in Gresham, Oregon.

Authorities said Annastasia and Matthew were divorced at the time of the murder.
