Idaho police arrest men for racing motorcycles

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say they have arrested two Idaho men who have been driving their motorcycles at speeds of more than 100 mph.

KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1kRrzud ) that Idaho State Police say the Treasure Valley men reached speeds of up to 160 mph on Interstate 84 and nearby roads.

Police say a 27-year-old man is charged in seven separate incidents involving law enforcement trying to stop a motorcycle with an obscured license plate going at a very high speed.

They say the biker failed to stop for police and chases were either called off or never started because of safety concerns.

State police say the other man, who is 29, was riding alongside the first motorcycle in one instance. Police say they were seen weaving through traffic at excessive speeds.
