Former aquarium president arrested

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The former president of the Idaho Aquarium in Boise has been arrested in Texas on charges of violating conditions of his probation, including an agreement not to buy, sell or possess fish or wildlife. KTVB-TV reports court documents say Ammon Covino will be transferred to Florida to face charges. Covino was convicted in 2013 of conspiring to illegally import sea life from Florida for the Boise aquarium. He was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of supervised release.
