REGIONAL – The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says 16 people have died of the flu in the last two weeks. That’s a jump from only three deaths before Jan. 8. Officials say all those who have died were over the age of 70. Of those who died, two were from Idaho Falls. The rest were from Lewiston, Boise, Caldwell and Coeur d’ Alene.
