Computer Malfunction Delays Sale Of Unclaimed Tags

FROM THE IDAHO FISH AND GAME HEADQUARTERS:

Because of a vendor computer malfunction, Idaho Fish and Game delayed sales of its early season, unclaimed controlled hunt tags that went on sale Aug. 6 on a first-come, first served basis.

The department regrets any inconvenience to hunters. Tags will go back on sale after the problem is solved, and Fish and Game will provide at least 24-hours notice before it resumes the sale. All 142 tags originally listed will be available when the sale resumes.

Tags for sale are for unclaimed early season controlled hunts that will open before the second controlled hunt drawing. The application deadline for the second draw is Aug. 15. This drawing is also for unclaimed controlled hunts, but ones that start in late summer and early fall.
