Bull elk taken illegally in Grand Teton Park

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — A Wyoming man who holds a cow-elk only tag has been cited for killing a bull elk in a portion of Grand Teton National Park that is closed for hunting. The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports Robert Baltensperger was cited for four infractions related to the illegal killing of a bull Saturday. He’s accused of illegally taking game, hunting in the wrong area, violating the terms of his permit and killing the wrong sex of elk.
