Bonner County Deputy was Critically Injured in a Tractor Accident

SANDPOINT (AP) — A Bonner County sheriff’s deputy in northern Idaho has been critically injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer while attempting to make a U-turn on U.S. Highway 95. Idaho State Police say 29-year-old Alexander Hughes’ 2011 Chevy Tahoe was struck last night. A hospital spokeswoman said Hughes was listed in critical condition.
