(BANNOCK COUNTY) – Emergency personnel are looking for volunteers in remote areas of Bannock County. Because it can take 40 minutes for an ambulance to get from Pocatello to communities like Lava Hot Springs, Downey and Inkom, officials are looking for volunteers who live in remote areas. Training will be provided to volunteers, who will work at least one 12-hour shift per month.
