(IDAHO FALLS) – If you live in Idaho Falls, chances are you feel good about it. Researchers from the University of Vermont found Idaho Falls the second happiest city in the US. Ten million tweets from people in 400 cities were analyzed for positive and negative words. The only city to beat Idaho Falls was Napa, California. “The Geography of Happiness: Connecting Twitter sentiment and expression, demographics, and objective characteristics of place”found southern states produced sadder words than those in the West and New England. Hawaii was the happiest state and researchers found Louisiana was the saddest.
