(TWIN FALLS) – Idaho’s Supreme Court has ruled that a large animal feedlot can be built near the site of a World War II internment camp for Japanese-Americans in Jerome County. The justices ruled only residents within one mile of the site can appeal the permitting process. The Minidoka National Historic Site is 1 1/4 miles from the proposed feedlot. South View Dairy of Wendell plans to place 8,000 cattle on 1,200 acres.
