(BOISE) – Large-scale developers in the Gem State will get some tax relief thanks to new legislation exempting the value of improvements on property until the developer begins selling homes or acreage. The Spokesman Review reports Otter avoided signing the bill after declaring he could have a conflict of interest as a developer. Supporters say the bill will help hard-hit developers carry their inventory the economy improves.
