(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho Legislature is wrapping up this year’s session but some hot-button issues remain unresolved. After 78 days in session, Rep. Jeff Thompson tells Local News 8 lawmakers could adjourn as early as Wednesday. Issues like the abortion ultrasound bill remain unresolved and lawmakers still need to resolve teacher salaries and tax cuts. Senate President Pro Temp Brent Hill said bills addressing teacher pay will likely be heard today. Both Thompson and Hill say the session could end this week, which would be a week earlier than last year.
