(POCATELLO) – A bill that would allow Idaho ranchers to hunt wolves from ultra-light aircraft is taking some heat by a wolf protection group. Sen. Jeff Siddoway is a Terreton rancher who has lost thousands of dollars worth of sheep to wolves. Siddoway tells Local News 8 the bill would make the wolves easier to catch. But Ralph Maughan of the Wolf Recovery Foundation calls the bill archaic and says the numbers of livestock killed by wolves is relatively low.
