(POCATELLO) – Occupiers in Pocatello say they aren’t going anywhere. But the clock is ticking. Lawmakers in Boise are debating a bill that could oust Occupy encampments from state owned land and Occupy Pocatello’s agreement with the city ends April 12. Occupier Gene Whitworth tells Local News 8 the message is vital.
Occupy Pocatello members are working on a national initiative to create a Constitutional amendment to overturn a Supreme Court ruling giving corporations the same rights as people.
