The 6th Annual Soup-er Bowl is in full swing, but there is just one week left to hit the goal of 121,212 cans of food collected for local food banks.

The Idaho Food Bank has grown to depend on this annual fundraiser, as it has become the largest donation they receive for the year.
It was started by Skyline and IF. It benefit’s the Idaho Food Bank, but this year we are giving the cans to the local food banks where the cash or canned donations are made.
This year the Soup-er Bowl will be from Friday January 27 through Friday February 10. There are two special occasions, Wednesday February 1st at the Skyline vs. IF boys basketball game at the Idaho Falls High School Gymnasium and again Wednesday February 8th at the Skyline High School Gymnasium.
Kelly Martinez and Josh Tielor from Star 98 will be at both of these games gearing up the crowd to make donations in an contest between the students and the parents to gather cash donations.
If you would like to help out, cash donations can be made in 50 cent increments at all KJ’s Superstores in Idaho and Wyoming, Jiffy Lube’s in Idaho Falls, Aryby’s in Idaho Falls and any Wendy’s in Rexburg, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, or Pocatello.
Or you can drop off canned foods at these locations: Chick-Fil-A, all Bank of Commerce locations, A+ Credit Union, Dixon Dental, Hyde Boats, Famous Daves, D&L Cleaners, Eagle Rock Dental, and Ron Sayers Nissan.
