(RUPERT) – Residents of Rupert who had their mail delivery suspended last month because of worries over loose dogs are again receiving mail. Three blocks of Rupert were affected but most residents have posted temporary curbside mailboxes and a two-day roundup netted 14 loose dogs. Rupert’s postmaster told the Times-News he is “ecstatic” over how the city and animal control officials responded to the issue.
