JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) – An aviation expert says the American Airlines bankruptcy proceedings should not disrupt winter service to Jackson Hole. Mike Gierau (JEE’-uh-roo) of Jackson Hole Air Improvement Resources tells the Jackson Hole News and Guide he doesn’t think the bankruptcy filing will effect service in the long term either. The Dallas-Fort Worth-based carrier has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
